  • New To Ascap Help I'm Lost

I'm a up n coming artist but my package is complete i have all Hot professional songs that are all hit singles i'm a singer and my hook game is crazy i have a real gift with making beats and i feel i will be very important to the music world. But the only thing i'm missing is access to the music world! How would i get on the radio? how would i get some one major to listen to me without mistaking me for the false musicians.

  • Welcome to the Lost

... and no need to confess to being lost, as that's not so unusual in our business.   It's a great time for experimentation, and being 'lost'.   It can be a very creative place.   Every day is a winding road (that's a lyric by a non-ASCAP artist... but she should be).  If you think you've got it down, well, pretty much nobody does, so who'd want to hang with you?  Putting your music out there to be heard is a necessary first step, and we're grateful to provide at least one vehicle for that.

  • Its what everyone wants

I guess its what everyone wants. all you need to do is go to a college campus and or find a college radio station to begin with. if you have a computer you should be able to get links to the radio personalities with little difficulty. Getting them to play the music or even listen to it may cost you some money. as long as your willing to spend you should be ok. Remember to use the Internet to your advantage. get your music out there use all the networks you can. someone just might be listening. Otherwise good luck.
