About Me
My Mom, "Miss Isis" [as she was well known by this name in Alexandria], Isis Fares, born Armanios, October 31, 1925 - December 4, 1996, was the one who encouraged me to make music. She was one of the most awesome persons anybody who met her or dealt with her could ever meet or deal with, according to the multitude of testimonies I gathered about her. When I was a child, I was so very proud of being her daughter. But I gave her some hard time for I always wanted to be with her at all times and everywhere...As I grew up, my love for her grew even more. Now I live in Gainesville, but I am keeping her New Port Richey home. I love going there. It is the place where she spent the last seven years of her earthly life. I would like others to learn about the music I composed, so that they can perform it, sing it, use it in anyway they like... Even after your parents go away, you never stop honoring them. You still want to make them happy. Yet you feel and beelieve this, but you don't really see it with your physical eyes. That's about my music journey, how it started, and how it evolved. I hope it will end up being known to many, many friends.
